The Civil War

    The Civil War was between the Union led by Abraham Lincoln and Ulysses S. Grant and the Confederacy led by Jefferson Davis and Robert E. Lee.  It stated with the Confederacy attacking on April 12 1861 and ended at Appomattox Court House in April 1865.  It is known as the United States deadliest war.
